Obligatory marking

Obligatory marking certifies that the product is compliant with one or more directives (all applicable directives for product).

For marking to be applied, a declaration of conformity must be issued. This is the document with which the manufacturer, under its personal liability, declares that the product complies with the essential requisites of the applicable directives.

The manufacturer must demonstrate that the necessary technical procedures envisaged by the directives (design checks, tests on prototypes, etc) have been performed, and that it possesses a suitable organizational structure to ensure constant production quality (internal manufacturing checks, documented tests and trials, preparation of use and maintenance manuals and technical dossiers, risk analyses and assessments, etc).
