Safety
Electronic monitoring of filter breakagesAlthough not required by current standards, all I.SO Italia solariums are equipped with electronic filter monitoring systems, based on an electrical circuit printed on the filters. In case of malfunctions, a signal is sent to the electronic control system, halting solarium operation and warning of the fault on the display. Electronic control of power supply to ventilation systemPower supply interruptions to ventilation equipment are monitored by an electronic system that can halt solarium operation, so as to prevent problems caused by stopping of the ventilation turbines, also warning of the fault on the display. Electronic temperature monitoringCooling air temperature is monitored by an adjustable electronic probe that in case of malfunctions or high temperatures sends a signal to the electronic control system, halting solarium operation before any further harm is caused, and warning of the fault on the display. Safety plexiglasThe plexiglas screens enclosing the UV lamps are designed to ensure the safety of users, who are never at risk of contact with any internal fragments that might be produced. Tests and trialsThe reliability of solariums is guaranteed by the rigorous tests and trials applied after the production process. These are used to check all parameters with respect to the limits established by applicable standards, both for electrical safety and for the emission of radiation. Safety timerThe safety timer is a backup timer incorporated in the electronic control system that monitors the correct operation of the main timer. For every tanning session, this system is able to read the time set before starting after which the lamps are turned off in normal conditions. In case of malfunctions, the safety timer halts operation of the solarium. Ventilation and temperature controlElectronic monitoring system for correct operation of ventilation devices: given the importance that an efficient ventilation system has for their operation, all our solariums are fitted with electronic sensors that stop them in case of malfunctions with ventilation fans.
